Inaugurated six years ago, Mevi Restaurante has become one of the most important haute cuisine addresses in the region of São José do Rio Preto (SP). It is frequented by customers who appreciate good cuisine and who do not give up cutting-edge ingredients.
With a very intimate and cozy atmosphere, Mevi is ideal for families, couples, and a group of friends. It has an occupancy of 80 seats and 20 employees. Its location was chosen by Chef Vinícius Mevi, due to the constant growth and importance that the city represents in the State. In its physical structure, decorative pieces and frames speak very well with all his creations in the kitchen. According to him, Mevi’s success results from his experiences in large gastronomic centers, such as São Paulo and Brasília, where he worked in all sectors of the kitchen for 9 years.
“Mevi from its first day showed the importance of treating all food with a lot of love and more, always thinking about customer satisfaction. Nowadays, we are a reference when it comes to haute cuisine, sought after by many beginners to begin their internships ”, highlights the Chef.
Chef Mevi mixes Italian and contemporary cuisine, making authorial dishes and reinventing the traditional. Much of his life was dedicated to studies and courses related to gastronomy. The mixture of spices and ingredients, carefully selected by the Chef, turns his recipes into true works of art.
Currently, a new branch is being created, which are the lines of Gourmet Burgers, such as Mevi Foie, which has foie gras in its composition. The bakery part is also taking on a new shape and soon all the loaves of bread made on Mevi will be for sale.
